With Cleaners (for Service Delivery)

When you subscribe to a cleaner and book services, we share your name, contact information, and service address with that cleaner to enable service delivery. Cleaners are independent professionals and are responsible for protecting the information you share with them.

With Service Providers

• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription billing
• Supabase: Database hosting and authentication services
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hosting and data storage providers

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kempt, our users, or the public.

With Your Consent

We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Customer addresses are never publicly displayed. We take privacy seriously and implement the following protections:

• Service addresses are visible only to cleaners you have subscribed to
• Approximate location (city/region) may be used for discovery and matching
• Exact addresses are never shown in cleaner search results or public profiles
• Location data is encrypted in transit and at rest

We retain your personal information for as long as:

• Your account is active
• Needed to provide services, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms
• Required by law or for legitimate business purposes

You may request account deletion through the Platform settings or by contacting support. Upon deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records, dispute resolution).

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
• Secure authentication and password hashing
